553rd Reconnaissance Wing
The 553rd Recon Wing operated out of Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base (1967-1971).
The Wing was comprised of two flying squadrons (553rd & 554th RS) and maintenance
was provided by the 553rd Electronic Maintenance Sqd. (EMS/AMS), the 553rd Field
Maintenance Sqd. (FMS), and the 553rd Organizational Maintenance Sqd. (OMS).
