Military vehicles in Blue-grayor Yellow
For those wanting to put their MV's into WWII USN
livery, you might consider Navy gray, or non-specular gray, or non-specular blue-gray, but there does not seem to be a consensus as to what is correct for any given time period. For some, yellow may be the color of choice for USN vehicles. Below is a collection of photographs that I scavenged from the web when I set out to pick a color for my WC-51. This page became cumbersome so I have slit it into two separate pages.

This jeep, U.S.S. Hush Hush, is the land flagship of Admiral Ninitz. It was presented to the Commander in Chief of the Pacific Fleet by the Army. The Admiral, at the driver's right, rides with his staff. The battleship - gray car is a familiar sight in Honolulu traffic. (via Don Moeller)
