STATUS: This bat is extremely rare, having been found only on the islands of St. Kitts, Nevis, Montserrat, and Guadeloupe. Together, less than 10 animals have ever been captured and examined.
IDENTIFICATION: These bats are slightly larger than Artibeus. They exhibit a thin white line running down the neck and back. These bats have remarkably large eyes. So far, there is absolutely nothing consistent about the types of habitat that thay have been captured in.
